Where we are now
We are now in the process of moving from Washington to Michigan. We left Washington in September of 2025 and traveled in our Winnebago Vista RV to Michigan. While in Michigan we started looking for a house. To make a long story short, we decided on a condominium in a complex that is being developed, and bought one of their units.
We’re currently living in our RV and traveling through the south for the winter and will be back in the spring, hopefully moving into our new home as early June or as late as August.

Exploring Bethany Beach, DE – May 2017
I’ve crossed a lot of bridges in my time, big ones, little ones, high ones, and low ones. This trip we crossed, what I would consider, the mother of all bridges – the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. The bridge-tunnel connects Norfolk … Continue reading

Wreckage and Raptors – Myrtle Beach, November 2016
We stayed in Myrtle Beach in April a couple of years ago and thought a fall visit would be fun on our way south. November is definitely “out of season” for this area. The crowds were almost non-existent. There are … Continue reading

Years ago I presented a workshop in Winona, MN and stayed at a hotel in LaCrosse. As I was driving to the hotel I watched the Mississippi River and thought it would be interesting to camp along it and to … Continue reading

Whidbey Island, WA – July 2016
Whidbey Island is located in Puget Sound, north of Seattle. Our reason for traveling to Whidbey Island may seem a bit strange. Many, many years ago I saw one of those disaster movies where the President and First Family were … Continue reading
We Finally Made It To Washington
We began our journey to Washington in March and, eleven states later, we arrived at Camp Murray Beach Campground near Lakewood, WA on May 25th. At the risk of revealing a great secret, Camp Murray Beach is a hidden jewel. … Continue reading
